The Stelios Kyriakides Running Club has organised the 10km ‘Kyriakideia’ Road Race, Pafos, set to take place on December 10, 2017.

This year the event will be held in conjunction with the Pafiakon Stadium’s renaming ceremony to Stelios Kyriakides Stadium.

The course will start and finish at Stelios Kyriakides Stadium, with this year’s event commemorating legendary Cypriot marathon runner Stelios Kyriakides’ death on December 10, 1987.

The route will pass by some famous Pafos landmarks including the Town Hall, Municipal Library, Makariou Avenue, Markideio Theatre, Attikon Cinema and others.

Only 300 registered runners will be able to participate.

All participating runners can expect to receive a unique Commemorative Medal, special technical race shirt, electronic timing, prizes for all age categories, and energy gels.

Additionally, there will be fluid stations every three kilometres along the running route, providing fruit, juices, water, and electrolytes.
