Cyprus Airways reveal Heraklion, Rhodes and Tel Aviv as its first three destinations
Heraklion, Rhodes (Greece), and Tel Aviv (Israel) were revealed by Cyprus Airways as its first three destinations, set for a June 2017 launch.
From its Larnaka base, Cyprus Airways plans to operate scheduled flights to and from the three destinations, with two additional routes expected to be announced later this month.
The airline will operate its Airbus A319 aircraft on the routes, providing passengers with 144 Economy seats.
In Autumn, the airline is expected to announce a revised and extended flight schedule to be implemented in March 2018, with the arrival of a second Airbus A319 aircraft.
Cyprus Airways is currently looking into adding more aircraft by the end of 2018, according to an official statement.
“We are delighted to announce our first three destinations today [May 2, 2017] and we are very excited as we are getting closer to the commencement of our operations,” commented Natalia Popova, Chief Commercial Officer at Cyprus Airways.
“Our strategic approach of gradual and steady growth has long-term objectives, to promote Cyprus as an all year-round destination abroad and to contribute in broadening travel opportunities for locals.”
Tickets will be available for sale by mid-May, according to the carrier’s announcement.
