Cyprus Airways will increase its flight frequency on the Larnaca-Saint Petersburg route for Summer 2018, from two weekly to daily, according to an official announcement.
“We will gradually increase our flights to Saint Petersburg from two to seven per week, offering our passengers extra capacity and flexibility in their travel arrangements,” commented Chief Commercial Officer at Cyprus Airways, Natalia Popova.
The airline initially launched operations on June 1, 2017 with flight CY1011 from Larnaca International Airport to Saint Petersburg’s Pulkovo International Airport with its Airbus A319 aircraft.
Additionally, for its St. Petersburg service, the carrier is expected to offer an option to fly through Moscow’s Domodedovo International Airport, via an interline agreement with S7 Airlines.
On June 1 Russia’s S7 Airlines launched its codeshare service with Cyprus Airways, which saw its S7 code being placed on selected flights operated by the Cypriot carrier, including Saint Petersburg.
