Cyprus Airways adds Russia’s St. Petersburg to its growing route network
Cyprus Airways has announced its ticket sale launch for flights between Larnaka and Tel Aviv, Israel, and its newest revealed destination, St. Petersburg, Russia, which is the latest addition to the airline’s schedule for this summer.
Three weekly direct flights between Larnaka and St. Petersburg are scheduled to begin on June 1.
Also for its flights to St. Petersburg, Cyprus Airways is expected to offer an option to fly through Moscow’s Domodedovo International Airport, via an interline agreement with S7 Airlines.
The Larnaka–Tel Aviv route is scheduled to operate three times weekly, starting on June 4.
GROWING ROUTE NETWORK
On May 15, the airline announced that air ticket sales for flights from Larnaka to Heraklion and Rhodes, Greece had been launched.
Flights to Rhodes are scheduled to begin on June 23 and to Heraklion on June 24.
Passengers can purchase tickets from two categories, Basic and Flex, with variations in features and additional services, such as baggage allowance or seat selection, for example.
Cyprus Airways will operate its flights with an Airbus A319 aircraft, providing 144 Economy seats.
In Autumn, Cyprus Airways is expected to announce a revised and extended flight schedule to be implemented by March 2018, with a second Airbus A319 aircraft set to join the carrier’s fleet.
The airline is currently looking into adding more aircraft by the end of 2018.
