‘Cyprus’ Best Hotel Spa’ to be decided at World Spa Awards

Cyprus will be represented at the 2015 World Spa Awards which are due to be held in Danang, Vietnam, with the island’s top spas hoping to come back home with ‘Cyprus’s Best Hotel Spa 2015’ title.

The inaugural World Spa Awards ceremony will take place at the InterContinental Danang Sun Peninsula Resort on September 14, 2015 with industry leaders from around the world expected to be in attendance.

Beginning with a cocktail reception, the gala dinner and the much anticipated unveiling of the World Spa Awards, the event will be followed by an after party at M Nightclub & Lounge.

Amathus Spa at Amathus Beach Hotel Limassol, Opium Health Spa at Elysium, Shiseido Spa at Four Seasons Hotel Limassol, The Spa at Antara Palace, and The Spa at Londa Hotel have each been shortlisted as nominees for the coveted ‘Cyprus’s Best Hotel Spa 2015’ distinction.

The World Spa Awards is a new and dynamic awards programme for 2015, whose aim is to drive up standards within the spa industry by rewarding the organisations that are leaders in their field.

Gina Reynolds, managing director at World Spa Awards, commented: “After months of preparation it is wonderful to be here at the InterContinental Danang Sun Peninsula Resort. I could not think of a better place to begin the World Spa Awards journey than here in Vietnam. The finishing touches to our Gala Ceremony are underway and I look forward to what promises to be a night of spa industry celebrations.”

In order to make the weekend as memorable as possible, a host of complimentary weekend activities and events have been organised for participating guests. These include Tai Chi and Yoga lessons, a city tour of Danang, and dedicated workshops by Harnn Heritage Spa, as well as Pedi:Mani:Cure Studio, by founder Bastien Gonzalez.
