Air Service Development Director at Liverpool Airport, Paul Winfield, has told Cyprus Traveller that the airport has a “very strong year-round performance” to the island.
Currently operating with four weekly flights to Larnaka, passengers departing from Liverpool Airport can visit Cyprus thanks to a year-round twice weekly service with easyJet each Tuesday and Saturday, and a twice weekly summer-only service with Blue Air, also on Tuesday’s and Saturday’s.
Blue Air’s services from Liverpool Airport, which commenced on June 27, 2017, doubled the airport’s flight frequency to Cyprus.

“Our passengers enjoy the island’s benefits being a warm year-round destination with guaranteed winter sun, and still only a five-hour flight time away,” Winfield told Cyprus Traveller.
“Liverpool Airport prides itself on being ‘Faster, Easier, Friendlier’ with typical security queues, even during the peak Summer period, lasting 10 minutes or under,” added Winfield.
“On-time performance at the airport is Europe’s 14th best, so our passengers can expect to depart and arrive on time with no hassle.”
