Pervolia, Larnaka is upgrading its tourist product with new projects and developments nearing completion prior to the busy summer season this year.
Among the new offerings within the village is a new beachfront development which is being designed to “substantially upgrade the area’s infrastructure,” read a Larnaka Tourism Board press release.
According to the announcement, the project involves a coastal pedestrian and cycle path with lighting and landscaping now being implemented.
A permanent open-air event venue within Pervolia Square is also set to be completed by August. Being created for summer performances, the venue is being designed along with the recently completed community theatre “to further enhance the cultural action within the community.”

Additionally, Costas Tiggis, President at Pervolia Community Council announced that there are plans being implemented to improve beach services; namely, changing rooms and toilets being added, signage to parking spaces, and an ongoing cleaning operation at the beach and wider community.
In another development for Pervolia, the village is set to be twinned next month (May) with Hungary’s Beloiannisz (Belogiannis), a village founded by Greek political refugees following the 1946-49 Greek civil war.
