S7 Airlines planning Novosibirsk–Larnaca route, confirm Moscow flights

Russia’s S7 Airlines is planning to launch flights between Novosibirsk and Larnaca, according to Routesonline.

Scheduled to be operated by Globus 737-800, this route will be served once-a-week, each Tuesday, from May 1, 2018.

Flights departing from Novosibirsk Airport (Tolmachevo) are reportedly scheduled to depart at 06:30, arriving to Larnaca Airport at 09:20.

Routesonline reported that flights departing from Cyprus will leave at 10:30, touching down at Novosibirsk at 20:45.

Additionally, S7 Airlines confirmed that flights between Moscow (Domodedovo) and both Cyprus airports – Larnaca and Paphos – have been included within its Winter 2017-18 and Summer 2018 schedules.

Since June 2017, S7 Airlines has operated codeshare services with Cyprus Airways, which sees its S7 code placed on selected flights operated by the Cypriot carrier.

In effect since June 1, 2017, the planned codeshare routes are;

– Larnaca – Irakleion, Greece
– Larnaca – Rhodes, Greece
– Larnaca – St. Petersburg, Russia

“This schedule will be convenient for passengers from St. Petersburg travelling to Cyprus for a vacation,” read an official S7 Airlines statement at the time.

“An early arrival at Larnaca Airport and evening departure to St. Petersburg will allow passengers to get the most from their time on Cyprus, without losing the departure and arrival day.”
