SmartWings soon flying to Larnaca from Kosice, Bratislava & Prague


Travel between the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Cyprus is going to get a whole lot easier next Summer thanks to Czech low-cost carrier SmartWings.


Larnaca has been included within the airline’s Summer 2018 schedule with flights departing from both Kosice and Bratislava (Slovakia) and Prague (Czech Republic).


According to the official SmartWings timetable, twice weekly flights from Kosice will begin on June 11 every Monday and Thursday until September 27.


They are scheduled to depart Kosice Airport at 19:00, landing at Larnaca Airport by 23:05. The return flight departs from Cyprus at 16:05 and arrives back to Kosice at around 18:10.




Services from Bratislava to the island are scheduled to commence from June 2, initially on a weekly basis (Saturday) departing at 19:10 and arriving at 23:10.


From June 10, flights will be bumped up to three weekly on Tuesday, Wednesday and Sunday with the same flight times as the previous service. These flights are scheduled to operate until September 30.


Simultaneously, from June 11 to September 27, twice weekly services are expected to transport travellers each Monday and Thursday.


Departure from Bratislava Airport is due to leave at 11:15, touching down at Larnaca Airport at 15:15.




From the Czech capital, SmartWings is scheduled to begin its Summer 2018 flights to Cyprus on May 17 on a twice weekly basis each Monday and Thursday, departing at 03:45 and arriving at 08:10.


These services are scheduled to run between May 17 to October 25 and between October 29 to November 5.


From June 9 to October 13, the low-cost airline will service the Prague – Larnaca route each Saturday, leaving the Czech Republic at 20:30 and touching down to Larnaca at 00:55.
