From May 29, 2017, low-cost Czech airline SmartWings will begin twice weekly services between Larnaka and Prague.

The flights are scheduled to be operated on Monday’s and Thursday’s.

In 2013, Czech Airlines – who previously operated direct flights between Prague and Larnaka – agreed with the low-cost airline on a code-sharing cooperation that will see its OK code on the flights to Cyprus.

Due to this cooperation, Czech Airlines re-added Larnaka to its current flight schedule.

Additionally, Orthodoxou Aviation was selected by the low-cost carrier to be its General Sales Agency on the island.

“With this new cooperation, SmartWings aims to develop and increase passenger volume [to and] from Cyprus,” according to Orthodoxou Aviation.
