Nicosia’s The Mall of Cyprus is undergoing a revamp to its parking facilities with 300 additional spaces being created within a new 6,000m² area.
Cypriot construction firm Cyfield has been tasked with expanding The Mall’s parking capacity.
After recently signing an agreement with the shopping centre and securing the necessary licenses, Cyfield has started constructing the new parking space which will see its current capacity increase by 20 per cent.
According to Cyfield, its construction works will not affect normal business operations at The Mall of Cyprus.
During the works, there are expected to be specific markings on the current and new areas where construction will take place, with security personnel available to ensure consumer safety.

Throughout the expansion project, special signage will be placed in areas that will be affected by construction works, whilst a security team will be on site to ensure the Mall’s smooth operation.
The new parking spaces are being designed in line with the Mall’s expansion project which will also see more shopping choices and an upgraded food court.
According to The Mall of Cyprus, 30 new stores will be created, along with the newly designed food court which will see more restaurants and café options to choose from.
“The expansion of The Mall of Cyprus is the perfect opportunity to respond to our customers needs by creating a unique shopping and leisure experience for the Cypriot market, whilst ensuring that we maximise value for our shareholders,” said Development Manager – Cyprus at Atterbury Europe, Pieter Olivier.
