Hungarian low-cost airline Wizz Air will launch direct flights between Varna, Bulgaria and Larnaka, Cyprus from July 23, according to an official press release.
The airline revealed that Varna will be its 27th base with one new Airbus A320 operating the flights.
Flights between Varna and Larnaka are scheduled to operate twice per week on Thursday’s and Sunday’s.
Owain Jones, Chief Corporate Officer at Wizz Air, said: “As Bulgaria’s leading airline, we are excited to announce Varna as the second Wizz base in the country. Our dedicated Bulgarian crew will ensure an excellent travel experience for each passenger travelling with Wizz onboard our new Airbus A320 aircraft.”
On March 28, Wizz Air also launched flights between Cluj-Napoca, Romania and Larnaka.
Wizz Air’s services connecting Romania and Cyprus are scheduled to operate each Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.
